IGCSE History is concerned with two main areas of study. The main theme is international relations in the 20th century.
Starting with the 1919-39 period, after the First World War, it follows through the factors that have helped shape our modern world.
The second theme is an in-depth study of Germany 1919-45, looking at the Weimar Republic and the rise of the Nazis. This complements the Core study of the twentieth century and allows students a more intimate knowledge of a topic.
